Eliza Moore USA Fellowship Program - Stay in America
In 2021, the annual Eliza Moore USA Fellowship in Oak Spring Garden Foundation Artistic Talent will promote a professional who mainly address to work, gardens or landscapes. This is their most prestigious artist award and is open to visual artists, literary artists, dancers and musicians. The prize includes $10,000 in personal donations and is required for two to four weeks stay in Oak Spring. This contribution will be given to the extraordinary artist, who demonstrates a deep understanding of the natural world and a remarkable commitment to contribute to the human condition within it.
Nominees for the award will be invited to spend 2-4 weeks in Oak Spring where they will meet with staff, explore our 700-acre landscape and also see work of sustainable land management. Discover their rare book with over 19,000 objects, including many examples of plant art. Fellows will have plenty of time and space to work independently on projects during their stay in USA. The only requirement of fellows time at Oak Spring is a 45-minute presentation to ask questions from Oak Spring staff and other friends or residents.
