The Fisher Family Summer Fellowship at Stanford University | Fully Funded

The Fisher Family Summer Fellows Program is a 3 week in-depth educational training program that will be held at the Stanford University Center. The program brings together 28 to 30 non-academic internships in law, politics, government, private enterprise, civil society, and international development around the world. For three weeks during the summer, fellows will participate in academic seminars that expose them to the theory and practice of democracy, development, and the rule of law. many seminars will be conducted for the training of fellows.

Sessions:

These are the main sessions that would be held by The Fisher Family Summer Fellowship.

Academic sessions:

It provides a framework and theory for understanding democratic development. Sessions will consist of lectures on meetings, political development, public administration, democratic change, Economic development, administrative law and manmy other related fields.

Case study workshops:

Selection Criteria:

1. This fellowship program is meant for practitioners only. They value practical experience over academic credentials.
2. Applicants should also have 10 to 12 years of experience in the fellowship program. Preferences would be given to those who have more experience
3.  Applicants should not belong to the countries such as Japan, Canada, the U.S., Australia, and member states of the European Union.
4. Applicants must be at least 28 years of age at the start of the fellowship in July 2024. The average age of The Fisher Family Summer fellows at the time of the fellowship is 38 to 42.
5. Applicants should not be in the midst of a full-time university degree
6. All the programs and sessions would be held in English. Skills in the English language will be highly considered.
