Undergraduate Scholarships:
There are many scholarships that are available at EMU. Some scholarship packages contain full scholarships, some are 50% and some are 25% scholarships. Applicants when they apply for admission at EMU then they have to indicate that they have to be considered for the scholarship. The Final and full decision will be made by EMU.
The EMU Board of Trustees will approve a list on which the applicants would be accessed for the scholarship. This is a competitive scholarship. This scholarship will be given to those applicants who are in the top 1% among the secondary school graduates in their home country. The Scholarship is contained:
- Full tuition fee waiver
- Accommodation
- 3 meals a day
Please note that applicants have to send their application letter and other necessary documents HERE before the deadline. The last date to apply for this undergraduate scholarship is 14 August 2021. This Turkey Undergraduate Scholarship is only for September intake.
High Honor Award
The scholarship will be given to those students who are studying at undergraduate and associate degree programs and have been rewarded with a 'high Honor' and they should also have 3.50 of GPA or 3.0 of CGPA or above. The rewarding benefits will be given as follows:
- Students with the highest ranking will get 3 times of the valid gross minimum wage.
- Students with the highest ranking at the second place will get double of the valid gross minimum wage.
- Students with the highest ranking at the third place will get one of the valid gross minimum wage.

Sports Grant:
This grant has been specified for exceptional performance player or team sports. This will cover partial or full tuition fees and accommodation fees. The grant amount, terms and conditions, and duration will be specified by the EMU Sports grants committee.
Student Assistantship
Student assistantships are also available at different faculties and departments. All students can apply for this. Applicants must have 2.0 GPA or above. The monthly stipend will be given on the hourly rates.
Research Assistantship
Each faculty also indicates some positions for Research Assistantship for students. Selected students will get fill tuition fee waiver as well as a salary. Applicants should have been enrolled in one of the postgraduates programs at EMU.

Postgraduate Scholarship:
Apart from Undergraduate scholarships, EMU also offers postgraduate scholarships for its Turkish students as well as for international students.
50% and 100% scholarship opportunities are available for coming students who are going to enroll themselves at master's degree or Ph.D. degree programs at EMU.
Those applicants who are going to take admission first time at EMU can apply for the scholarship opportunities. They have to apply online.
The departments will assess the applicants with their selection departmental criteria not only on GPA. The grant amount will be fixed by the department. Departments will announce the short-listed applicants. Short-listed applicants will have to complete their registration process by the deadline.
The scholarship information will appear in the acceptance letter issued by the EMU.
Research Assistant Position can also be given to those applicants who are given a 100% tuition fee waiver. Such applicants will have to undertake duties for 5 hours per week at academic units. Those students who have 50% tuition fee waiver, they are not eligible for Research Assistant Position.
